- PM Download Center

Think about this scenario. You're downloading the last version of mozilla with your slow modem dialup. And suddenly when it's just a few kilobytes left something aborts the download. You scream, curses, throws you computer out the window and watches pbc instead.
Well, it doesn't have to be like that. If you where using PMDC you could give Murphy the finger and laugh when PMDC continues the download as if nothing had happend.

Main window PMDC is a download manager for OS/2 much in the same way as GetRight and programs like that for windows. You tell what files it should download and then it does the work for you while you watches pictures of Pamela Andersson, or actualy do some work. gasp!

There's two different ways to use PMDC but both ways is quite easy. The first way is to drag shorcuts from netscape to a special download folder and when PMDC finds an url there it starts to dowload it. The other way is to copy a links location in you browser and then chose 'add URL' in PMDC. Either way PMDC will then start to download the files.

Config window PMDC uses the OS/2 port of wget to download the files so there's very few limits of wich files you can download, and as you may know with wget you could download the whole Internet. I want a special 'download the whole Internet'-button in the next version

PM Download Center is FreeWare software and written by Daniel Caetano. You can download it from Fudeba Software or from here.
