The MacLowlives formed in the spring of 1998! When three nurses got together and realized they had a shared interest... Irish and Scottish music! At the beginning, as always, it was mainly a beer drinking thing. But sometimes they played as well. Playing mostly traditional tunes they soon found out that people actually wanted them to play at parties and gatherings alike.
		They also ventured into traditional music and found some new instruments which they tried, and is ever trying to master. Not playing as virtuosos, but with a lot of heart and affection that is ever catching. After one year playing together they decided to try their flawed musical talents on the Great Highland Bagpipe, which they massacred with great success, although Jonas S. proved to be the one to make the greatest progress. He was soon to be countered by Jonas L. At that note Robert wasn't really interested in pursuing skills in the highland bagpipes, but instead got bewitched by the haunting sounds of the Irish Uilleann Pipes.
		The MacLowlives are:

		Jonas Sundell:	Bodhrán, Guitar, Highland Bagpipes, TinWhistle and Vocals.
		Robert Sahlqvist:	Banjo, Bodhrán, Guitar, TinWhistle, Uilleann Pipes and Vocals.
