This is how we work dispensing up to 200 reading glasses a day.

Visual acuity is tested from a distance of 6 metres.

This is to get a rough estimate of a persons ability to see at a distance.

Local interpreters do a great job.

The test chart can be like this with hooks or with letters in different sizes.

Vision for reading is tested with powers of +1. +2.+3 and +4
