My Junior Handling results 2007 & 2006

12/8 DKK Vejen INT

This week-end we drove of to x2 Dog show in Vejen, we had only one cairn entered and also we brought the lovely Afghan male Awbari Ramazzotti "Be-BIS" to show in the breed ring both days and in Sunday's Junior Handling. Judge was Susanne Laurusen (Denmark), Merufe Newfoundlands, and it was the first time ever BeBIS was in a Junior Handling ring and my first time ever with an Afghan in a JH ring, so not surprisingly, it all was a bit nervous! However, BeBIS managed excellent and I could even move around him without he moving about. Together we managed to impress the judge so well we ended up BIS-2 in the afternoon's finals!!

A HUGE thank you to Bea Picard and Marc Linner for lending me beautiful Be-BIS and all your efforts enabling me to show him in Vejen!

24/5 - 27/5 FCI Mexico World Winner show 2007

In the last week-end of May, I went to the world dog show 2007 in Mexico City to contend in Junior Handling at the Mexican international dog shows, Americas Winner Dog Show 2007, and of course, the World Winner Dog Show 2007. The two first days I entered together with a  Yorkshire Terrier, little "Gigi", kindly lent by Armando Martinez, from Mexico. Together with Gigi I got a fourth place at the first day under Judge Mrs Patricia Cruz (Mexico). At the two last days of the show I got to handle the super sweet wire fox terrier "Jack" (Dartline's Jack Sparrow). At the Saturday under AKC president Dennis Sprung (USA), together with Jack I first had to qualify to a final where the Top Handlers of the Americas were to compete, and to my great happiness we made it to the finals that were held pre- the BIS finals... In this final we finally were placed 4th!!!! A great Thank You to Hugo Quevedo for lending me your Jack!
 

10/12 SKK HUND2006 INT Swedish Top Junior Handler On the Sunday at HUND2006 the price ceremony of Swedish Top Junior Handler of the year was to take place, and I was with Sara announced as winner! During the year I participated 11 times with Sara, winning 6 x BEST IN SHOW Junior Handler and won Top Junior Handler of the Year with 648 points! Moreover I am the first Top Junior Handler winner in history who has lead the competition continuously throughout the season! Press here for Top Junior Handler of the Year results for 2006

19/11 NKK Hamar Norway :: Nordic Junior Handling Championships :: Judge: Hugo Quevedo (Peru) :: Participants: 20
A fantastic experience where I got to represent Sweden together with three fabulous girls, Emelie Damgaard, Emelie Karlsson and Mathilda Sandberg. I got to show a beautiful Wire Fox Terrier, “Ben”, owned by Grethe Bergendahl. Our team won and went Nordic Junior Handling Champions 2006!!! There was also an individual competition where I was selected from the Swedish team and placed as Runner Up Nordic Junior Handler Champion 2006!! Congrats to my dear friend Benedikte Nergaard, Norway, who won the individual competition :) Our “coach” Cindy Pettersson deserves a huge thank you! -Without your support, we would never have made it!

11-12/11 FCI Poznan World Winner show 2006 :: World Winner Junior Handler

Me and my dad drove down to Poznan with some cairns of our own and the Standard Poodle "Emma" Huffish Believe In Woman to show in the breed. In the cairn ring Tribuns Only You stood for the [best] performance and went World Junior Winner, Sara placed 3rd in the female CH class which was satisfactory in the large class. Moreover Emma went all the way among the Black/White poodles and took the CACIB and the World Winner title! Shown by me in BOB. 11/11 :: World Winner Junior Handler Judge: Aneta Sobkowska-Dopierała (Poland) :: Participants: 53 At Saturday I participated with a Standard Poodle, Ch Huffish Believe In Woman, “Emma”, owned by Marlene Solberg and Lotta Sandell. It went very well but we didn’t advance to the day semi-finals. 12/11 :: World Winner Junior Handler Judge: Dorota Witkowska (Poland) :: Participants: 61 As many as 61 handlers were entered on the Sunday when I was to compete with Sara. To my great luck we did not only advance to the day-semi-finals, but were also selected to proceed to the semi-finals of the show!! 12/11 :: World Winner Junior Handler :: Semi-Finals/Finals Judge: Martha Heine (Germany) :: Participants: 28 In this semi-final there were 16 Junior Handlers sent by national kennel clubs around the world, and the remaining 12 were those that had been selected though the day finals. Here judge Martha Heine selected 10 to proceed to a major final, and I could hardly believe it to be true as she picked me to be among the 10 best! Winner was Romy Raymeakers representing Monaco with a Whippet, 2nd German Judith Freudenberg with a Pug and 3rd Anna Kulawiak with a Shetland Sheepdog. 23/7 :: SKK Lövudden Int Judge: Lena Stålhandske :: Participants: 23 Once again I got the priviledge to show Ben in Junior Handling and once again we ended up BIS-3!

14/7 :: SKK Högbo x 3 Int Judge: Fanny Hellström :: Participants: 34 For the first time I handled the lovely Miniature Poodle Ben (MultiCh Baltic Pearl Sweet Boy) that Anna and Nils-Arne Törnlöv, Kennel Rush, generously lent to me for this show. It went really well and we ended up as BIS-3! 15/7 :: SKK Högbo x 3 Int Judge: Pernilla Wistad :: Participants: 36 Once again I handled Ben and we got to the semi-finals among the 10 best. 16/7 :: SKK Högbo x 3 Int Judge: Sophie Hedberg :: Participants: 32 On the third day I handled Ben again, as the day before, we advanced to the semi-finals among the 10 best.

9/7 :: SKK Tvååker Int Judge: Svante Frisk :: Participants: 27 Tvååker is home ground for us, as we only have 20 minutes to the show ground area! I showed Sara in Juniors and we went runner-up, ie BIS-2!!
