I am not a mountaineer, as the picture might suggest. No, the title of this page is a more general statement which holds for anything I undertake. People who know me say that I am competitive. Perhaps that is true. At least it has been true in the past. Now I have come to the conclusion that by being too competitive I will never make my dreams come true. Happiness is what I ultimately seek, and happiness can be amplified through other people. I am still aiming for the top, but I have no wish to stand there alone anymore.
I earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in December 1998. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. For information related to my professional life, please visit my home page at CMU.
