XPM for Amiga

The XPM image format defines how to store color images in a portable and powerful way. I have ported the XPM library, which provides a set of functions to store and retrieve images to and from XPM format data, to the Amiga platform. The port has been incorporated into the main distribution, thus making future enhancements directly available to the Amiga community. The XPM distribution is available at ftp://koala.inria.fr/pub/xpm/.

To simplify the use of XPM images on the Amiga platform, I have also written a BOOPSI image class that acts as a wrapper for the XPM library functions. The source code is available on Aminet and the archive also contains a binary version of the XPM library.
