Introduction |
This is an implementation of the famous mind puzzling game MasterMind. |
|
|
Background |
It all started in middle school, where I first was introduced to MasterMind. For a while we used to play it during lunch recess in the school library. Captured by the game, I implemented a version of it in AmigaBasic during the Spring and Summer of 1990. In high school, I wrote a PC version during my computer classes in the Fall of 1991. Three years later I finally made this Amiga version in C, which has changed little since then. |

Major Features |
You can play with 4, 6, or 8 colors. There are two different correction methods, and you can play against the computer or a human opponent. If run under AmigaOS 3.0 or later versions, colors will be used for the graphics. The layout is font sensitive, support for localization is present, documentation in AmigaGuide format is provided, and an installation script makes it easy to install. |
