I started work on this website December 1997 and has been adding new stuff ever since. The Colin Firth Career Timeline currently span 4 different URLs. To help you navigate I've uploaded a site map here.

Not one to be typecast, Colin is an actor with many faces. I've seen him on the silverscreen and on the London stage playing multi-layered romantic leads, emotionally disturbed killers, an obsessed football fan or a mercenary elizabethan lord. And his brilliant acting makes us believe in each and every one of these characters.

What will he do next? And what kind of work has Colin been doing in the past?? This kind of information used to be very difficult to find. To help myself get a good picture of Colin's work, I decided to make a Career Timeline. When I first came up with the idea of gathering pictures and articles related to each project Mr Firth has worked with, there were nothing like this in cyberspace, so I went ahead, not knowing how time consuming it was! But I'm still here, still adding new material [see News & Updates] and enjoying every minute of it. Hope you do to!

The focus on this site is on Colin Firth - the actor. Quotes and comments are by Colin Firth, his friends and colleagues as expressed in articles, books, radio- and TV interviews, film documentaries etc. Only occationally do I express my own - or my friends - opinion, like in the ratings of the productions we've seen or heard.

Many of the articles, pictures and snappies are contributed by alert and generous friends across the globe. Thank you! All sketches and creative writings are made by me, and all pictures are scanned and edited by me unless otherwise stated.
