Soldiers in the Russian war (1700-1718):

  1. Lars  Ersson Rännare . His father was Lind Erik Larsson living at Dalen Lindor 4 & 5. Lars son Erik was born 1/1 1701, so Lars must have been at home at about 1/4 1700. Lars is noted in the churchbooks 2/2 1700, and can not be found after that. His wife is noted as Rännare-widow 1740. Lars seems to have been sent with the first wave of soldiers, first to Sjaeland (Denmark) and then on to Pernau (Latvia) by the end of 1700, headed for the battle at Narva. He probably died at Narva or just after. The Ore pluton was statiioned in Laisholm during the winter.

  2. Anders  Ersson Dunder was brother to Lars Rännare. Anders was married but no children. Anders was also noted last in the churchbooks 2/2 1700. His wife is noted as Dunders-widow in 1702.

  3. Erik Persson Våghals . He lived with his wife (born 1662) and 3 children (born 1686/93/99) at Näset 2. Erik was probably born in 1662. He is noted in the churchbooks 12/4 1701, but not 4/8 1701. He has probably been sent away during summertime 1701 as replacement to a someone who died at the battle of Narva. He is noted as soldier Våghals also1702 and 1703, and is in the books as long as to 1706. He probably died 1701-1704.
    His successor as Våghals, was called Jöns, and died 1706, so Erik must have died a few years earlier.
    Eriks daughter Margareta was married., and her husbands brother Hans Joensson was also a soldier:
    . He lived with his wife (born 1662) and 3 children (born 1686/93/99) at Näset 2. Erik was probably born in 1662. He is noted in the churchbooks 12/4 1701, but not 4/8 1701.   4. Hans Jonsson is noted in the churchbooks last time 17/4 1704, and noted as missing soldier 1706-1707. He probably died 1704-1706.

  5. Hans Hansson participated last time in the catechetical meeting 15/7 1704. Reported missing 1705. Probably died in Poland.




    Soldiers after or before the Russian war:

  6. Per Ivarsson Tysk, father to Erik Persson Våghals, was a soldier. Probably born some time 1620-1645. 
    Soldier at about 1655 - 1670 (Before the Russian war!!)

  7. Olof Persson Hanström, was 5:th wave soldier between 1710 and 1725. Probably participated by the end of the Russian war. (Note he lived in Husby and was a soldier in the "Hedemora company")

  8. Mats Matsson Våghals, was soldier at about 1740 - 1760.

           The Ore group was part of  the Orsa troop which belonged to the "Dala" regement.
           The Dala regement participated in the batlles of:
                - Narva 20 nov 1700.
                - Duna river crossing
                - Klissow 9 July 1702
                - Thorn 1703
                - Prag 31 August 1705
                - Holowzin 4 July 1708
                - Malatizce 31 August 1708
                - Dessna river crossing 5 November 1708
                - Ukraina campaign 1708-1709
                - Aktiriki 9 February 1709
                - Poltava 28 June 1709
           The remainings of the regement was captured at Perevolotjna about a week later,, and send to Russia as

            prisoners.
