Some facts about my life.

I was born in Aneby in southern Sweden on the 16th of February 1967. When I was eleven I moved with my parents to the city of Jönköping, where I lived and went to school until I met the man I married 1985. Because of him I moved to Sigtuna, not far from Stockholm, and went on with my studies there. I studied litterature and languages. After having graduated in 1986, I entered art school in Stockholm, studying drawing, painting, sculptur, photo and history of art.
In 1989 we moved to Spain and spent three years in the village of Maro on the south coast. We took photos and wrote articles on a freelance basis for different travel magazines in Sweden, and during this period I also wrote my first book, "Brotherly love". I´ve been writing all my life, ever since I learned the letters, but this was the first time i tried sending a script to a publisher. Guess if I was happy when I finally got their positive answer!
During the years in Spain I also prepared my first exhibition of paintings and drawings at Galleri Smedbyn in Huskvarna. A few months later we moved back to Sweden, first to Jönköping and then further south. In 2000 we got divorced and I moved to my little writing-cottage. Soon I fell in love with a neighbour and in 2001 I gave birth to a son. He and his father and I now live in a house in the wilderness and we have horses, dogs, cats and chickens.

This is my son. He´s name is Fabian.

I have written eight books, six youth novels and two children books. They are all are translated into German and Danish. Some of them also into Dutch, Norwegian and Finnish.
