Ricordo
Let me introduce Ricordo. I have four balls of this long-haired beauty, with spongy brightly coloured bits here and there. 200 grams, approx 380 meters if I remember right. What should I do with it? I might be able to pick up one or two balls in purple, but the combination with brown is not in line with my artistic vision, so to speak.
I would make this into a competition if only I thought I'd get enough votes... But let's try! Tell me what to do with Ricordo, and you'll win some of the purple stuff, provided Kleinpreismarkt still has it in store. If not, well then I'll have to think of a plan B, don't you think?

Nåt glest.... och eftersom det inte är så mycket, en gles sjal. Jag tror resårstickning på stora stickor skulle bli snyggast med det garnet.

Jag skulle virka ett gosedjur på fri hand. Det är det roligaste man kan göra. En mammut till exempel, så får man glädjen att göra stora fladdriga öron, och lite problemlösning till på köpet - hur göra betarna? Kanske hårt virkat naturvitt bomullsgarn med en ståltråd inuti så att man kan forma betarna.
Om jag vinner det purpurfärgade garnet ska jag med glädje virka en papput.

I'm sure you didn't expect to hear this from me, but what about felting? I don't know the exact term for the technique (free-yarn felting?) but you'll need some yarn with long fibers and at least some wool in it (100% is not necessary). You should zigzag some of this mohair yarn onto a towel, add some other yarns in layers with this basic yarn whose strands is supposed to bind the whole thing together. Then you roll the whole thing into a "rulltårta", bind it with rubber bands or cotton yarn and throw into a washing machine. (It might be a good idea to put this whole thing into a pair of old tights so that it doesn't open and spoil the surprise.) Hot water, long program, and you'll be surprised to see what comes out!

hrrmmm brown and hairy? Perhaps you can hold two strands together and make a hallowig? That would be entertaining.
Another random question... my husband is travelling in BE and he's currently in a small town called hasselt. I want him to buy me some phildar yarn but I don't know where to send him! Any ideas of shops close to Hasselt, BE??
