2005
Happy new year may not be the most appropriate greeting in these days of mourning and worries, but I still wish you all the best for the days, weeks and months ahead.
I finished my krasse wrap in time for Christmas (leaving two thirds of the ends for the recipient to weave in...).
The bag I started on the road to Düsseldorf last spring is finished, and it turned out OK.
I keep working on the blue destash-shawl, the rounds are getting longer but I still have a long way to go. I'm sure this will be a lovely thing to wear in our draughty livingroom at night!
In an act of random eBay madness, I bought some mixed blue yarns with far too much lurex. A party might be in the works for early March. I might come up with something for that event. Or not.
I expect my first Nordic Secret Friend II assignment any day now, if that person has a wishlist including the words blue and shiny, I will be able to make at least three people very very happy. Not bad. But knowing the NSF-participants, it will probably be someone with a yearning for homespun or silk.
This post needs photos, I know.
