Life tends to overwhelm me at the moment, and my updates are short and photoless. (And pointless, as you may have noticed.)

Knitting progress: not much to brag about. I have finished baby sweater number 3, the Noro Sumili chenille thing. I did the last seams while having coffee with the (unsuspecting) recipients, and then I forgot to take a picture of the finished object. I hope the parents will send a pic once their baby girl has grown into it. It is a raglan sweater, with an appliqued heart in felt, and homemade cernit buttons. Cute, in my biased opinion.

For the babysweater number two, it's almost finished. I met the baby boy's mother in the street yesterday, and to give myself a push in the right direction, I told her that I'm knitting on a gift. She was surprised and happy, and now I need to finish this thing!!

True to myself, I have started something new; a shawl using Sticka's very simple pattern. I'm using it to finish my stock of blue yarn in different shades and qualities. My first Kool-Aid experiment has set the tone, and so far it looks nice. (But the picture above is only an approximation of the finished result)

After work today, I'll go to the post office with my fourth, and last, package in this round of Secret Nordic Friendship. It has been a blast, and I am ready to sign up for the next round! (Dear secret friend, please note that the photo above is not contractually binding, I think the package I will send today is one size smaller. The contents will still make you happy, I hope.)
