Nordic Secret Friend, final package
This Friday I received my last Nordic Secret Friend package, some very nice sock yarn sent from Elisabeth in Norway. Yesterday I decided to use some of it for an unusual project - a knitted necklace. I simply made some meters of i-cord and today I'm wearing a unique and very good-looking woolen embellishment.
On my way to work I realised that I was wearing
a/ my mohair scarf, made from yarn received in round 1
b/ the matching mittens I received in round 3
and c/ the above-mentionned necklace.
The only thing I haven't used yet is the wristwarmer kit I received in round 2, maybe I will calm down enough for pearl knitting around Chistmas?
A big thank you to all my secret friends, I think I ought to make a photo of all my lovely things together, I haven't shown many of these gifts here.
