Two lined kites

Two lined kites are often even called stunt kites. Some two lined kites are even used as power kites, for more information about them, go to the seperate page.
A stunt kite is a steerable kite capable of doing loops, dives and knife-edge flying with the pilot controlling the whole thing. A stunt kite can be flown with or without a tail. A tail improves the manouvres of the kite, but also makes it slower. The first stunt kite was a simple diamond kite with two lines attached to it. On the left is a picture of such a kite. Today we use a type of stunt kite that's called a foil. The most common type of stunt kite, though, is the delta wing. There are many different models, but most of the delta wings have the same form. Below are some pictures of stunt kites, both foils and diamonds.
