Introduction
There
are several types of kites. Some of them are hand made and very simple,
some of them are hand made but very complex. In Europe, Australia and in
the USA the most common kites are factory-made diamond kites. Everywhere
in the world it seems, there are factory made advanced kites. On the picture
on the right there's an example of such a kite. These kites aren't small,
they measure at least 1 metre from left to right. Some of the bigger kites
measure up to 5 or 6 metres. Big kites can be pretty hard to control because
of the large pull they create when the wind catches the big 'sail'. This
pull is used by some of the more extreme kite fliers who use their large
kites to drag them in some way. Read the page about power
kites and learn more about this fascinating sport.
The sport of kiteing is usually a relaxing and nice sport. If relaxing
and looking up in the sky doing nothing is your thing, then look at the

probably the one for you.

by one line or a multiplicity of lines. It is because of your disrespect
that the wind always gets better the time comes to pack your kite away.

someone asks you, you shall always say yes. In this way the sport of kiteing
will grow.

way you can fly your kite in most weathers, and not get any injuries on
you eyes. Notice that even on an overcast day, the radiation from the sun
