Ben and Jerrys Phisherfood This semi acoustic trio constellation was created in 1999 by the guitarist Jerry Haglund, who was resident band member in weekly jam session at Corks in London, the trio was formed out of the house band septet. Regular rehearsals followed and the three band members started to write for the constellation. Since then the band has performed regularly as house band at the ISH jam in London. Also playing venues such as 606 jazz club (featuring Mark Lockhart) Chel west foyer, Tatty Bugle club, The Downstairs bar, Lauderdale house, The Ivy, London Hilton, National portrait gallery, White swan (Greenwich). Hannas Krog, G:a Masters, Trädgår´n, Rosengården och Munkkällaren. The repertoire is covering both traditional jazz and modern, sometimes touching on free jazz. The three members have got an open and positive approach to music and are not afraid to experiment and mix. The vibe and sound is there main priority. Jonty Fisher - Electric and Double Basses. Brought up in Ghana, Jonty moved to London to study music. He graduated with a first class honours degree and was a Barclays Youth Music Awards finalist at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Jonty has toured extensively Worldwide as well as many of the UK’s premier events and venues. He has played with, among others, Mark Lockheart, Nikki Iles, Don Rendell and Kate Dimbleby. He also composes for his own quartet and quintet. Ben Reynolds Drums Having played drums since the age of ten Ben was performing on stage at fourteen. Voted winner of the Daily telegraph solo jazz scholarship award 1996 he has gone onto play in many prestigious venues across the Uk and abroad, including Jazz cafe ,the 606,Ronnie Scotts and the Vortex. His recent graduation with 1st class honours in jazz has led to career openings in radio, television, stage and session work. Ben has performed with some of londons finest jazz musicians including Bobby Wellins, Mark Lockhart, The Eddie parker band and living Jazz legend Stanley Black
