This clinic will be located not far from the coast, amidst the green and pure nature between Lagos and Aljezur. natural medicine offered by professional hands, first class accomodations and an athmosphere of culture and art are the central initiatives of the clinic.         Situated on an 80 hectacre preserve, near the national park, and sheltered from the current north-westerly winds, the health center .is a little higher on the Southside of the mountains of "Espinhaco De Cão". It´s an enchanting spot, with rich and unique vegetation, that you´ll find near the Atlantic and Mediterranean. The clean air and original tasteful architecture combined with capable co-workers are the ingredients for its success.
        This private clinic project presents the region with an infrastructure for the possibility of creating at least sixty new jobs. Mostly for small independants, who posess the original skills and qualifications indigenous to the region. Of course, during the building phase, and later in the form of services, both within and also outside the project. Imagine the production of vegetables, meat and milk, spices and herbal medicines. And new people will constantly be arriving, bearing an interest in the arts and original handicrafts.
        People expected to come are managers, artists and businessmen and -women between 30 and 65, from Portugal but also other countries, mostly English speaking. They´ll need to lose stress, and learn to be themselves as a main tool for health. Wishing to find new perspectives to inspire both their work and their private life. Discovering their own creativity and meeting art and culture as key life-elements. Learning to live in a more therapeutic way, both for themselves and for each other. In an expanded consciousness of natural and ecological coherence.
        You will find at least five star accomodations. Everything is done to realize the choices and wishes of the guests. Even enabling them to understand their own situation eventually with the help of professional therapists and doctors. Of course you have the "health bath" of your choice, including mud and fango treatments, sauna, massage and osteopathy. There´s also swimming, walking, jogging, dancing and individual therapeutic eurhythmy. In addition we offer other arts like painting, modelling, wood carving, music and song. You might also want to work in the garden, ride a horse, go to the shore and fish or go sailing. Right in the neighborhood you´ll find the sparkling holiday life of the southern Algarve.
        The hotel accomodations are accompanied by a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools and jogging paths through the nearby forrests.There´s also multi-purpose rooms for group activities such as dance, music, lectures etc. A well equipped medical center, with laboratory facilities and a pharmacy as well as enough space for the nurses and other medical staff. There´s an auditorium for the concerts, dance performances, theater, movies and lectures, that will also be open to the public. Professional lighting will be available as well as a grand piano and rooms and services for the performing artists. For educational purposes outside we will have a park with animals, and gardens stocked with medical plants in their original enviroment. This will not only provide education but also fun!
        The buildings are owned by a local company, who´s board is comprised of at least five people. The president, a finance man, a lawyer/promoter, a general manager and the medical director. The president knows the country and the countryside, our financial man has many international and local connections. the general manager has a sub-manager for the kitchen and room services, buildings and gardens. The medical director has a qualified medical staff. Everybody associated with this project has built in incentive and a large amount of autonomous decision making responsibility and economic independence.
