| WESTERN AUSTRALIA, often called WA, is the largest state in Australia. The state covers a third of th whole country. But it's not very populated, in this huge area there's no more than 2 million inhabitants. The climat is very good and there'e a lot of great beaches along the coasts. In the center of WA, it's a bit different, there's great deserts , such as Great Sandy Desert, Gibson Desert and Great Victoria Desert. |

PERTH is the largest city in
Western Australia, and is also the statecapital in WA.
Perth is the most isolated big city in the world. The
closest big city is Adelaide, 2720 km away. But there's very much to do here, Perth is the state capital that has the most hours of sun per day in all of Australia with its 8 hours per day. | MONKEY MIA and SHARK
BAY. If you drive up the westcost you will come across a place called Shark Bay. The name probably don't need a moreprecise explanation, but one thing I can tell you: Don't swim after dark! Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is a camping site with swimming pools andteniscourts. But the main reson to go toMonkey Mia, is to see the dolphins . Every morning the dolphins comes in tothe beach to get breakfast. Most timesthey come very close, and sometimes you get the chanse to pet them. |

THE PINNACLE DESERT is the name of a small desert located in a national park somewere between Perth and Monkey Mia. The whole area consists of big rocks sticking out of the ground. If you have a good emagination you can find that the shapes of the rocks can be whatever you want them to be, like different kind of animals. |
| ALBANY is located in the southwest of WA. The nature is fantastic, but the temperature drops a few degrees when you travel down to the southern parts of Australia. |
