VICTORIA only takes up about 3% of the total area in Australia, but it's the most crowded state, the population is about one fourth of the total population in Australia. Victoria often goes by the name "The garden state", because of all the beautiful gardens and parks.


MELBOURNE is the state capital in Victoria, and with 3,3 million inhabitants it makes it the second biggest city in Australia. In Melbourne there's over 100 different cultures and is one of the worlds most etnical citys. The weather is often a bit cooler and not as steady as in the rest of Australia. An australian saying says that Melbourne can experience all four different seasons in just one day.
