This game is being based upon 11 books by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It's his books about John Carter, a gentleman from Verginia who finds himself under peculiar circumstances transportered to Mars. He doesn't find a dead dry and steril planet, but instead a dying world yet peopled by the strangest and most beautifull creatures.
In this game the player takes the part of a Barsoomian (Barssom is martain for Mars). This is planned to be a life simulator. So you will be able to do in princip everything (I hope). It will be a cind of mix of Frontier and a real RPG.....
One goof thing with these books is that they are freely distributed over the net, at least the four first books (thanx to project Guetenberg :-) ). I have fixed so that you all can read and enjoy the first book here on this site! Just follow this link..... The first book is entitled "A Princess of Mars", read it ASAP!
