STEP 1---RELAX

Just stand easy and hold ONE ball in any hand. Your hands should be slightly in front of you at about waist level.
Then making a slight sweeping motion, practice tossing it backward and forward between hands in an arc reaching about eye level. I.E Chucking one ball from one hand to the other!
IMPORTANT: Always toss the ball up in the air, in an ARC. DO NOT just pass the ball across to the other hand. It looks like this:
1 Ball out of a 3-Cascade

SO, to recap, a little scooping motion with both hands and toss your ball to and fro until it feels comfortable.

STEP 2---TWO BALLS

Now we take one ball in each hand! (Don't panic your brain will adjust). The only difference in having two balls is that once you have thrown the first ball into the air, you must then throw the second ball before you catch the first.

NOW WHATīS NEXT?
If you try this and it works, GREAT. But it will probably take a bit of practice to perfect.
What we have to think of is the two balls being passed between both hands in good arcs. If this is not happening go back to
step 1.

The most important thing to remember is that you are throwing the balls in alternate hands.
E.G Right hand throw ball, left hand throw ball, left hand catch ball, right hand catch ball. (We can say this is a full round). The full round looks like this:
Throw Twice
Then.... Left hand throw ball, right hand throw ball, right hand catch ball, left hand catch ball. (Two rounds). And so on and so on, going from right to left, left to right, right to left.... Blah, blah, blah! It looks like this:
2 Balls out of a 3-Cascade

Now practice this until you are throwing two balls with little effort. Donīt get freaked out if you canīt do it straight away. You may find that after a while itīs not going to well..... If so
STOP....Make a cup of tea, feed the cat or even go for a weeks holiday in Glasgow, but do not drive yourself crazy.
Be confident with two balls before moving on!!
PRACTICE, PRACTICE & STAY COOL!

STEP 3---YOU WILL NOW NEED THREE BALLS!

You have mastered two ball juggling, now itīs time for the real thing....Three balls.
This is what itīs all about folks!
RIGHT HERE WE GO...
Take TWO balls in one hand. (Best to use the natural one. I.E Right handed person, two balls in right hand. Left handed, left hand). Then ONE ball in your other hand.
NOW... Throw ONE ball from the hand containing the two balls, and as before, just before it lands in your other hand throw the ball in that hand across, and before that lands throw the other ball across, and then before that lands throw the other ball across.......
AHHHH, Iīve got three balls and only two hands!!
The secret is you are EXCHANGING one ball for another all the time. There is only ONE ball in the air an one in each hand. If you find this hard to understand, check this out!:
3-Cascade

MAJOR POINTS TO REMEMBER
(I) Always throw balls in an ARC.
(II) Hold your hands about waist level.
(III) Throw balls to about eye level. (If you find this hard just go back to
level two for a while).
(IIII) Don't expect instant success, but remember it wonīt take long!

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
Do you remember when you were trying to juggle with two balls? It was hard at first but now itīs easy! Don't get frustrated with three balls, donīt try to teach yourself in one session. Do little bits often, rather than spending ages driving you nuts.

Once you can do it youīll be showing off to all your friends, neighbours and anyone else that gets in your way!

BEWARE.... Other people will be so amazed with your new skill that they will want to learn it as well. Unfortunately itīs your job to teach 'em. Donīt keep it to yourself.... JUGGLE THE WORLD!

LETīS RECAP ON OUR STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO JUGGLING!

STEP 1

One ball hand to hand.

STEP 2

One ball in each hand, throwing one ball from one hand to another, and before that lands, exchanging the other ball by throwing it to your free hand. And so on and so on. Build a rhythm....and flow.

STEP 3

Two balls in your best hand, one in your other. Toss one ball from your best hand to the other and just before it lands toss that ball across an just before that lands toss the ball in that hand across.
You now have one ball in each hand and one continually in the air.

CONGRATULATIONS YOUīRE JUGGLING!

A FEW HELPFUL HINTS

1. Practicing in the kitchen can be hazardous. Especially if meatballs are on the menu.

2. Beware of dogs. It may seem that Rover is amazed with your new skill, but heīs really thinking, "yum yum that looks like a jolly tasty flying animal".

3. The neighbours three pet hamsters may look like prime juggling material!! Try and resist, as it may offend people if they are supplemented for your balls!

Follow these simple rules and you could become a great juggler in no time at all.

Good luck and happy juggling.
