When Scott Summers was ten years old he was in a plane with his family. The plane was suddenly
attacked by Shi'ar, and Scott's mother Katherine Ann shoved Scott and his six year old brother
Alex out of the plane, with the only parachute. Scott and Alex survived the fall, but Scott
injured his head.Katherine Ann and her husband Major Christopher Summers, weren't so lucky; they were kidnapped by the Shi'ar soldiers. Ann was eventually killed, but Christopher was able to escape and as Corsair he is today leader of the Starjammers.
Scott and Alex were taken to an orphanage, and Alex was soon adopted. Scott wasn't so fortunate, and grew up at the orphanage alone. What he didn't know was that the orphanage was "owned" by the evil Mr Sinister, who was interested in mutants, and obsessed with the Summers blood line.
When Scott hit puberty he started to have severe headaches. He went to an optician and it turned out that the only thing that prevented Scott from having headaches was if he used ruby quarts glasses. That turned out to be a good thing, since he soon developed his mutant powers, incredibly powerful optic beams, and the only thing that could stop them (except his own eyelids) were the ruby quarts glasses. The head injury Scott suffered as a child somehow made it impossible for him to turn off his powers.
Scott was approached by the telepath Charles Xavier who was looking for mutants. Together they beat an evil mutant, Jack O'Diamonds, and Scott joined Xavier as Cyclops, the first X-Man.
Soon the beautiful Jean Grey joined X-Men, and it was love at first sight between Scott and Jean. They were both very shy however and it took a long time before they admitted their love for the other.
When the new X-men was formed, Jean left the team, but Scott stayed behind as X-Men's leader. Jean's love for Scott soon made Jean come back however. But maybe she shouldn't have, since she soon became Phoenix, was consumed by the great powers, and took her own life to save the universe.
Struck by grief, Scott left the X-Men. He was away for a long time, but finally returned to the X-Men's side. This would change when he met Madelyne Pryor however. Madelyne was an exact copy of Jean Grey, and Scott immediately fell in love. They eventually married and Scott moved with Madelyne to Alaska, but before he moved Scott tried to become the X-Men's leader again, by fighting Storm. When he lost, it was his cue to cut his ties with the X-Men.
Even though his marriage to Madelyne had resulted in a son, Nathan Christopher, Scott wasn't happy - he kept on thinking about his first love, Jean Grey. When Jean was resurrected Scott immediately left Madelyne and went to Jean's side. Together they formed X-Factor with the other members of the original X-Men.
To everyone's surprise it turned out that Madelyne was a clone, created by Mr Sinister with a sole purpose to give birth to Scott's child. Madelyne, alone and confused and now with the power of the Phoenix, became Goblin Queen during Inferno and tried to kill her own son in order to unleash hell on earth. Jean, Scott and the combined forces of X-Factor and X-Men were able to defeat Madelyne, and she killed herself.
Scott wanted to give his son Nathan Christopher a happy childhood, but the evil mutant Apocalypse, interferred and infected Nathan Christopher with a techno organic virus, and Scott had to send his son into the future, and hopefully a cure. Scott and Jean were eventually sent into the future where they were able to spend ten years with Scott's son, and defeat Apocalypse. Nathan Christopher would return to this era as the soldier Cable.
Scott and and the other members of X-Factor eventually joined the X-Men team, and despite Psylocke's attempts to make Scott fall in love with her by using her telepathic powers, Scott and Jean's love endured, and they eventually married.
During the final fight with Apocalypse, Scott and Apocalypse merged and became one. According to
Xavier, Scott's mind didn't survive, which makes Jean a widow -- but a the core of her heart,
Jean still believes that Scott's mind survived, and is alive somewhere deep within Apocalypse's.
James Howlett born
in the mid 18 century. He has been an agent for CIA, he has been
in Asia where he has learned the ways of the Samourai . He was
the victim of an experiment where the metal adamantium was forged
to his body, a metal that has now been removed by Magneto. When
Xavier approached Logan, he was a reluctant agent for the
Canadian government, and gladly joined Xavier's cause. Logan had been a loner all his life, but Jean awoke feelings within him that
he didn't know existed... Logan felt that Jean also had something wild within her, and it was this
wilderness that made Jean attracted to Logan as well...
This mutual attraction has today grown into a deep friendship, and Logan has accepted Scott as the love in
Jean's life. Jean is still important in Logan's life, however, and one of the few that can tame the feral side
of Logan...
Warren Worthington III seemed to have everything: money good looks, intelligence. Even
though he was a mutant his powers were the most precious of all - he grew wings and looked
like the legendary angels in heaven.As a teenager he tried to be as superhero, calling himself the Avenging Angel, but he realized that he needed more training and accepted Xavier's offer to become an X-Man, as Angel.
When he saw Jean Grey, Warren felt an immediate attraction, and being good looking and not very shy, it looked like Warren would win Jean's heart. But Jean ended up with Scott, and Warren found another woman to love in the beautiful Candy Southern. But Warren had still feelings for Jean however...
Warren was the first of the X-Men to know that Jean was resurrected, and he hesitated before he let Scott know that Jean was alive, since a part of him wanted Jean for himself. Candy said to Jean that her real mutant power was to make men fall in love with her and then break their hearts.
Jean convinced Warren into forming X-Factor, which wasn't very hard to do, since he always liked being a hero and had been a member of the Defenders and the Champions after he left the X-Men.
After forming X-Factor, Warren's luck seemed to run out. He asked his old friend Cameron Hodge if he could help X-Factor with public relations, but Hodge, who always had hated Warren, used his position into making the public hate mutants even more.
During the Mutant Massacre Warren's wings were severely injured and they were amputated. Shortly afterwards, Warren was kidnapped by Apocalypse who transformed him into Archangel, and gave him wings of metal (along with blue skin). Warren was able to break free from Apocalypse and return to X-Factor.
Hodge's hatred of Warren made him kill Candy Southern, and full of grief Warren seemingly killed Hodge. But Hodge had made a deal with the demon N'astirh and had recieved the gift of immortality and would return on other occasions and cause havok in Warren's life.
Warren had finally come to peace with his identity as Archangel when his feathered wings somehow returned.
Warren is now dating the ninja telepath Psylocke, but he will always have deep feelings for Jean, and she for him.
Charles Xavier's father, Brian, worked at a nuclear facility. Brian was a victim of an
accident. He could have been saved by his companion, Kurt Marko, but Marko was in love with
Brian's wife Sharon, and left him to die. Marko married Sharon, and Charles had to spend his
childhood with Kurt Marko's son, Cain Marko. There was always a rivalry between
Charles and Cain, a rivalry that for Cain deepened into hatred, especially
since he sensed that Charles was different. In an accident Kurt died while saving Charles and Cain,
and thus made up for his past sins.Charles studied at a university in England where he met the talented Moira MacTaggert, and they fell in love. They were about to marry when Charles had to go to war, fighting for America. He fought alongside his step brother, Cain Marko. Marko one day defected - Charles followed him to make him come back. They found a hidden cave, where Marko discovered a ruby - the stone of Cyttorak. The cave collapsed, but Charles managed to get out. Marko was buried, but would one day return - Cyttorak had transformed him into the Juggernaut!
Xavier travelled all over the world; he fought the Shadow King in Cairo, and met a man called Magnus in Israel. Magnus was also a mutant and together they fought Hydra, who had kidnapped Charles beloved Gabrielle Haller... Magnus would one day become Magneto...
On his travels Charles also met the alien Lucifer, in Tibet... Xavier and Lucifer fought, Xavier lost and was crippled in the battle. On the hospital in India he met the nurse Amelia Voght, also a mutant. Together they returned to America where Xavier started to plan for a future where humans and mutants could live together in peace. Amelia didn't share his dream and left him - she would one day join Magneto's forces...
Xavier got a reputation as a geneticist, and was thus approached by the Greys, whose 10 year old daughter Jean was almost catatonic. Xavier understood that Jean was a mutant, a telepath like himself and helped her. He trained her telekinetic powers and dampened her powerful telepathic powers, so they would surface when she was ready for them.
After a few years, Jean joined Xavier as one of his X-Men... Xavier had very deep feelings for Jean, he was even attracted to her, but these were feelings he suppressed deep within himself... Jean has stood by Xavier's side over the years, and he has stood by her side... Xavier knows that Jean will one day be an even more powerful telepath than he is...
When Xavier became Onslaught it was to Jean that he reached out, and wanted desperately that she could help him...
