This is the current beta version of a converter for Microsoft Flight Simulator files.
Input: FS2000 and 2002 mdl-files made in FS Design Studio.
Output: DXF 3d-files. In this debug version also a TXT file with some information
about the structure of the MDL file.

This version have make a better DXF file than the earlier converters that was based on the Flight Shop and Aircraft Factory MDL files. You may download and use it, but I can not guarantee the result on every type of MDL file. There is no easy way to detect what sort of MDL file you try to convert. Diffrent sorts of MDL files are not only connected to the version of Flight Simulator. The type of modelingprogam play an important role, Flight Shop, Aircraft Factory, Design Studio or Gmax. This converter will work with the 1029 kb files from Design Studio. It also support the old 71 kb MDL files from FS5 to FS98, built by Flight Shop, but sometimes they need the older MDL2DXF3 converter.
Sorry, no support for gmax-files.
