The Area

So here we are finally at the first M'era Luna festival ever. It took place in Hildesheim,
near Hannover in Germany, on what is usually an airport. And the area was indeed huge. As was the crowd. Approximately 20,000 people visited the festival!

Here you could buy anything you wished for! All kinds of (quite disgusting) fast food, wonderful clothes,
jewlery, CDs, posters... you name it!

This, dear friends, is the Fhaevirr, enjoying a drink in the shade. Shade was indeed hard to come by and I bet most of the people visiting the festival came home with a suntan which did not quite match their image. I know we did!

This, dear friends, is Lirazel. In the background you can see the main stage where the more famous groups appeared. There were only two stages at the festival and on the far left here you can see the smaller one, the Hangar.
