Besides the real food (as on this photo Whiskas) hedgehogs will eat also grass, green parts of plants, soil and leafs, which will pass through their digestive track rather quickly. If you are a gardener, consider that the poisonous plants like foxgloves and lupins might be a danger for a hedgehog as well as for kids. Both can became very ill after eating them.
