This is how we were checking the weight of hedgehogs coming to visit our feeding place. Small balance and a candy box, rather high, so they will no climb out of it, not directly anyway. Some hedgehogs, were so big, that it was very crowded in this box! Our most heavy visitor hedgehog weighted 2.5 kg in the end of August, 1999.
