Between grasses there are lilies and lots of bulbs of tulips and crocus. This plant bed is created
with sand and soil to allow good draining for bulbs and grasses.
Its full beauty will possibly be seen during coming season.

Bouquet of Lilies!
This flower bed has a south-west exposure. It is mainly my lily collection, spring
bulbs and annuals, as mentha for "filling in". The most spectacular colors are during July and
August.
More about lilies in my garden here!
As this flower bed is an example of collection of plants from the same family, I try to do similarly
for Campanula sp., Digitalis sp. and Roses.

Weeds!!!
Weeds are somehow miraculously the first plants which are showing up in the
garden after winter...In general I allow them to grow to some extend in the flower beds.
Weeding is usually the most important in the spring. Later, when perennial and annual
plants start growing more intensively they are going to take over the place,
light and nuritions from weeds.
Soils which were not in use for some period of time require very extensive
anti-weed campaign. Otherwise there is no point in try to cultivate anything
there, since billions of weed seeds are just wating to start. I use NO chemicals to
get rid of weeds.
