Sweden - size larger than Poland, but inhabited only by around 9 mln people.
Last wilderness of Europe. Most of the land is covered by pine and spruce forests.
Large cities (Stockholm 1,5 mln) are in the south. Northern Sweden is just nature and people in
minority.
Umeå- is situated on the cost, what makes climate a bit milder.
Inhabited by over 100 000 people. Umea is a university center of northern Sweden.
Called a "Birch city" since after a big fire in the end of XIXth century birches have been planted
along many streets (to protect from fire spreading).
Polar circle-Feels like the end of a growing zone, but it is not. Marked on the road by
special signes, so you will not miss it when travelling north of Sweden.
