Sweden has produced many successful hard rocking bands like Fireside,
Mary beats Jane, Entombed and Candlemass, whose fans spans the globe. One
of the best unsigned bands from Stockholm, Sweden's capital, is Heave. Formed
in early 1995. Heave's music is powerful but still melodic. Having played
a ton of gigs in Stockholm's best clubs, they pride themselves on driving
the crowds f*#§ing crazy. Heave is composed of vocalist Per Richard,
Patrik Stoor on guitar, Pasi J Lappi on Bass and drummer Patrik Nikolic'.
Each has a variety of music influences, and before joining together in Heave
played in a variety of other bands. They bring their various tastes and
talents together to forge metal for the end of the millennium. One of the
songs on the demo is called "Alone". This is one way to interpret
it: There are many lonely people. Even those who have families and lots
of friends are sometimes lonely. The song "Alone" describes the
way that loneliness can make you feel pain and sorrow on a whole new level.
They say that you don´t appreciate the small things in life until
you've really experienced solitude, and in some ways that is true. "Alone"
is about keeping your hope up, no matter how bad things seem, there is always
a light at the end of the tunnel. Live life to its full extent!
