Dr Taylor Hayes was Caroline Spencerīs doctor. After her death Ridge and Taylor became very close. So close so Ridge proposed but Taylor turned him down. Taylor wanted time away from Ridge and she went to ST. Thomas.
Ridge not so easily rejected went after. When he reassured her that he loved her she said yes to his second marriage proposal.
Back in LA they got married and lived happily ever after... until Taylor perished in a plane crash.
Ridge mourned his beautiful wife.
