Ridge first met Brooke at the Forrester mansion. Her mother catered a party and Brooke was helping her. She was impressed with the life and lifestyle of the rich and famous. She became best friends with Caroline Spencer and fell in love with Ridge.
Ridge chose to be with Caroline after her divorce from Thorne and Brooke married Ridge´s father Eric.
Brooke and Ridge worked together at the Forrester lab and one time they gave into the passion and made love. Brooke realized that she still loved Ridge and wanted a divorce. Eric loved her and fought long and hard for her.
Ridge sacrificed his love for his father and married Dr Taylor Hayes.
