My music taste has changed a lot over the years. When I was young my older brother was into Rock 'n roll, and I heard it every day for years to come. Even though I still like many songs from back then, I'm more of the ballad kinda guy. ...Eric Clapton... The best writer/singer when it comes to ballads. Noone is better at playing guitar. His best song is Tears in Heaven. Mr. Clapton wrote it to express his pain over the death of his son Conor, who fell from the mothers apartment-window on Manhattan in -93. ...Micheal Learns to Rock... This danish group sings some of the best ballads you'll ever hear. Unfortunately they're not that well known outside of Europe. ...Bloodhound Gang... The Jersey hatin' pack with the funniest songs around. One fierce beer coaster is their best cd. ...The Doors... Who hasn't heard of Jim Morrison and the Doors? Or heard their music without knowing it? Their songs are amongst the sound tracks of Forrest Gump and Air America. ...Toto... The most wanted musicians in the industry. They created such immortal songs as Africa, Hold the line and I'll be over you. If Eric Clapton is the best writer/singer, then Toto is the best group. |
