What's Wrong With Dorfman? This book is one of the funniest comic novels I've ever read. Story's about this cynical, burned-out screenwriter who wakes up one morning with a mysterious disease and sets out on a ridiculous quest to find a diagnosis, a quest that takes him to the fringes of alternative medicine. In the meantime, he must navigate his latest film script through Hollywood Development Hell. The main character is terrific -- a 40ish Holden Caulfield type, funny but insightful. The book is full of oddball characters, all very well drawn. Official website: http://www.whatswrongwithdorfman.com
