Invisible Monsters This book can be read in under 8 hours. I suppose it's a giant slap to the author when you don't want to buy their book so you sit in a book store for the better part of the day reading it.
I just wanted a sample really. I wanted to read something by the author of the famed 'Fight Club'. But I got sucked into a twisted world and only emmerged 8 hours later.

Invisible Monsters is the new book out by the author of Fight Club.
Absolutely nothing is what it seems. You are not who you are, and your motive is not what you think and in the end you don't like the person you were pretending to be. Sound confusing? That's Chuck Palahniuk. A novel full of more plot twists, bizarre happenings, and true Tyler Durgen propaganda.
That propaganda that makes you sit there and think, 'Yeah, my parents are like God...', 'Our lives are just God's television...', and 'Nothing of us ever could be original because we are the combined effort of everybody we know.'
A book that deals with deceptive appearances in people, motives and the force that activates our being. Four central characters that you are left unravelling and unravelling until in the end they were never the person they were at the start and nothing you would expect. A read that you won't put down and likely won't forget. Not much on the intellectual scale, a tad of the trashy entertainment, but the psychology of the novel will keep you hooked like a cheap bookstore whore...
