An International
Lake Monster Symposium
in Sweden 1999!

This will be a follow-up symposium of the international one held at the Royal Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, July 25th, 1987 on The Loch Ness Monster. The symposium is planned to take place in August 1999 and to be located near the lake Storsjön were the well-known "Storsjöodjuret" resides. The length of the symposium will be two days.

The symposium will tentatively be focused on:

• Perception aspects on the quantity and quality of observations.
• Ethnology and folklore.
• Biotope and biomass results.
• Protection law efforts.
