Easy Textures - Granite 2

For this one, you need the plugin filter Toadies 2 by Ilya Razmanov. Download it here (428 kb). This filter is free. Unpack it and copy the files to the ..\Paint Shop Pro\Plugins\ directory. The next time you start PSP, the filter should be included in the Image - Plug-in Filters menu. For detailed instructions, go to the Filters Installation page.

Start with a new image, Size 400x400, Background Color: White, 16 Million Colors.

Step 1:
Set foreground color to Pink R = 250, G = 179, B = 173.
Image - Special Filters - Add Noise.
Select Random and 10% Noise.

Step 2:
Image - Special Effects - Hot Wax Coating.

Step 3:
Image - Normal Filters - Sharpen More.

Step 4:
Image - Deformations - Motion Blur.
Set Direction = 90 Degrees and Intensity = 5 Pixels.

Step 5:
Image - Plug-in Filters - Toadies - Metalwork
I used the following settings:
Reflection 1 = 60, Reflection 2 = 0, Shine 1 = 210, Shine 2 = 255, Colour = 255.

Step 6:
Image - Resample. Custom size = 200x200. Here it is:
