The group Hulling is formed by five musicians, Ola Hertzberg key-harp (nyckelharpa), Dan Sjöberg fiddle and hardinger fiddle,Jens Engelbrecht guitar and mandola, Patrik Lindberg percussion and jews-harp and Johanna Bölja on Vocals.

Ola has been playing key-harp in Uppländsk tradition since he was ten and his most important influences are Eric Sahlström, Curt Tallroth and Peter Hedlund the last one being his teacher. He has participated on the CD "Till Eric" a tribute to Eric Sahlström and he can also be heard on Niklas Roswalls record .

Dan has been playing fiddle since he was twelve, and began playing tunes from Jämtland and then later tunes from Dalarna. He is now living in Stockholm and has been cored riks-spelman (national fiddler) in Uppländsk tratidion. He has in recent years played much norweigian hardinger music. He is also a member of the folkpopmusicgroup B.A.R.K

Jens has been playing guitar since he was ten and his influences has mostly been Jazz and Rock but has in the recent years been playing Swedish folk-music influenced by musicians like Ale Möller and Roger Tallroth He is a member of the folkpopmusicgroup B.A.R.K and can also be heard on Niklas Roswalls record .

Patrik has a backround of playing latin/funk oriented music but has now concentrated in the new tradition of tambourine playing in swedish folkmusic influenced by Björn Tollin. He is also a member of the group "Sorkar och Strängar"

Johanna is born in Hälsingland wich is a community with rich folkmusic tradtion listening mcuh to the fiddle players and she has the song tradition from her family and friends. She is also inspired by singers like Lena Willemark.

Hulling was started in the winter of '92, the songs are mostly from Uppland by Bohlin, Sahlström and Styfberg but we also have a growing number of own compositions.
