- Started and maintained a set up of about 20 aquariums containing e.g. plants, cockroaches, crickets, crayfish, spiders, fish, frogs, toads, salamanders, and gerbils at Linköping University 1992-1995.
- Promoter and supervisor on a land clearing project 1993 aimed for cultivation studies at Linköping University.
- Research assistant on a 2 weeks cruise tracking yellowfin and bluefin tuna off the coast of Mexico in October 1997 together with Dr. Barbara Block, Hopkins Marine Station, University of Stanford, CA. bblock@leland.stanford.edu
- Collected and constructed Swedish names to all living shark species.

- Compiling a comprehensive text together with Dr. Samuel Gruber, University of Miami on the biology of the lemon shark comprising more than 180 scientific publications.
- Writing a book chapter about methods when studying sharks to be published in "In celebration of sharks" by the Shark-L list members and editor Rick Martin.
- Starting up the Swedish Elasmobranch Society.
