The long Finnish name for this vehicle is simply in english "mortar tracked truck".
While the two southern readiness brigades will be equipped with the wheeled Patria AMV with the AMOS-turret
the northern readiness brigade will use these tracked vehicles with heavy mortars.
The reason for that is quite simple, the terrain up in the north with dense forrests, swamps and so on and
so forth is not very suitable for wheeled vehicles. And a complicated tracked design fitted with the heavy AMOS-turret
would of course cost a lot of money and require a lot of maintenance.
