81 mm light mortars
Light mortars are used mainly in the infantry brigades and in the coastal brigade. Each
company has a platoon with 3 mortars that supports the platoons in combat. Light mortars
would also be used by other smaller units, such as paratroopers and so on. They can
fire shrapnel-, smoke- and illuminationgrenades.
