122 RakH 89 (RM-70-85)
The MRL:s supports the army corp they are assigned to in combat and are primarily
used against large formations along the main supply artery. 122 RakH 89 uses the
same weapon system as the older 122 RakH 76 (BM-21 Grad) but mounts it on a more
modern czech Tatra 815 8x8 terrain truck. The vehicle can also carry its own reload
that are reloaded hydraulically. This gives the battery (usually 6 vehicles) higher
tactical flexibility. They can simply move to an other firing position avoiding
counter-battery fire and then fire again shortly afterwards.
