122 PsH 74 (2S1 Gvodzika)
While 152 TelaK 91 is the heaviest self-propelled gun in Finland, 122 PsH 74 is the
most numerous. They were bought as DDR-surplus in 1991. The 122 mm gun is essentially
just a modified 122 H 63A and the chassies
is a modified MT-LB, which are both used in the finnish army. Despite lacking the most
modern computerized equipment 122 PsH 74 is reported to be
a accurate weapon if used properly. Firing with 6 guns, each firing 6 shots each at a target 10 km´s away,
all grenades fall down on a area less than 50 meters of diameter.
