Hughes 500D/E

The Finnish army operates the Hughes 500 in two models, D and E, C-model has also been used. It was first taken into service in 1975, in those days they however belonged to the Air Force. It is used as a training and liason helicopter although it could be used for other tasks as well, such as transport and for medical evacuation. There is also a display team, the "Hughes Syncro Display Team" that uses these helicopters.
