So, you are curious about me? Well, my name is Peter Soderberg born in 1962. I’ve been working in the Swedish Armed Forces since I finished my National Service in 1984. During my whole military career I’ve been dealing with military dogs. I feel quite privileged! The reason why I feel this way is that my former boss had a policy that said; if you are a specialist there is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to climb the career ladder! He was also the one that made me devote myself to the military dog business.
My family: I’m married to Cecilia (not supposed to tell about her age!). We have two children, one daughter and one son. If you are curious visit the family web site, www.algonet.se/~stigman. Only in Swedish dough!
Of course I have a dog on my own. His name is Nitro, nickname “Nitte”. He is a mixed breed of at least Border Collie, Labrador retriever, Flat coated retriever and a lot more breeds. I trained him as a youngster to become a bomb detection dog. He performed really good during his palmy days. Today he is almost eleven years but he still loves to work. Due to my commuting life we couldn’t maintain his high status as a working dog. I think he is happy guarding the family estate and raising the children!
