  Design philosophy
I try to design calm, clean and simple skins. One for me very important part is to get the dynamics of the GUI well designed, like button pressing. I think there so much more than just a nice looking static skin.

So, still with all respect for the creators, I do not understand how those grafitti/psychedelic skins can get all these high grades. They're good looking on the side of a train, but do they work as skins? I don't think so. I demand more of a great WinAmp skin. Please tell me if I'm right or wrong, and why.

My WinAmp skins
Here's my two published Winamp skins, the popular WoodAmp skin and my new PlateWorx Skin. I hope it'll get just as great reception as the WoodAmp skin. Just click on the pictures do download the skins.

When I heard about the WinAmp skin feature, I decided to put all those Photoshop tutorials to practise. I was really glad (of course) when I saw the response:

- Five stars from the Layer3.org site... Thanks!

- Six lightning bolts from the All4WinAmp site... Great!

- Four happy little guys from the mp3.com site... Ok I guess...

If you're fond of the WinAmp speakers I offer a modified version of these... please read the enclosed textfile for credits.

So... Here's my new PlateWorx skin. I hope it'll please your eyes as it pleases mine.  And do remember... the feedback part.

- Five lightning bolts from the All4WinAmp site.

- Four happy little guys from the mp3.com site.

Still no response from Layer3.org, maybe they're overwelmed by all those skin submissions? :)
