Until june 1999 we run; Myråsen´s riding school
on our farm. The riding schoolwass fairly small, about 130 pupils ranging
from 4 to 60 years of age. We are situated in west of Sweden between the
to large lakes Vänern and Vättern.
My wife, Jeanette, was the sole riding instructor 5 evenings
per week, 4 groups of eight pupils ever evening, and that was a little
too much. That is why we changed direction, and now have a fairly large
flock of sheep in the riding arena instead! We still have about 8 horses
on the farm. I have my own horse, Goliat; a working horse who I use in
the forest and a little in the farm work.
We also have an outdoor paddock 25 x 65 meters, and the indoor arena; 16 x 35 meters, is, as said, now a sheep shed!
