Zikri Bren'Taleh clears throat.
"Welcome to this first town meeting, citizens of Darjani." Zikri Bren'Taleh says.
Zikri Bren'Taleh says, "I have a few points I'd like to take up, and I will begin with the question of guilds within the town, as I have been asked that several times in the last few days."
Zikri Bren'Taleh says, "While I hope that soon one or more guilds will settle within the town borders, I personally have enough to do as a mayor, and will not take any initiative when it comes to guilds."
Zikri Bren'Taleh says, "My concern is the whole town, and to the town meetings, that I think we should have twice a month, every citizen will be welcome, no matter which guild he or she belongs to."

"There is one exception though, and that is the town militia, but I will talk more about that later." Zikri Bren'Taleh says.

"As most of you may know, tomorrow we will grow to a village, and that means I can start setting taxes" Zikri Bren'Taleh says.

"Since it will be new to me too, I am not sure exactly how I will set those taxes, but I know there is a property tax, and income tax" Zikri Bren'Taleh says.
"This means, that those that have not only a house, but also harvesters within the city borders, will pay property tax for every structure they own" Zikri Bren'Taleh says.
"The maintenance cost starting tomorrow will be about 80.000 per week, counting city hall and mission terminals" Zikri Bren'Taleh says.

"Property tax on the other hand, is a percentage of the maintenance cost of the structure" Zikri Bren'Taleh says.

Zikri Bren'Taleh says, "No, I have read it is a fix sum, that is deduced from the amount that you have in your house each week"

"Maybe we should vote, between taking only enough taxes to cover maintenance, and taking an extra 1500 credits a week to purchase new buildings and gardens and such for the town" Zikri Bren'Taleh says.
