Although Jeffrey And KellyÕs Passion Was True, Their Union Wasn't Meant To Be

Kelly Capwell was so happy to have finally found true love. After her first husband, Joe, was tragically killed, Kelly lost her heart to Nick Hartley. But after an affair with his brother, the guilt from their relationship sent her to sanitarium. At her possibly lowest point, Jeffrey Conrad entered her life, and she was never quite the same!

Kelly and Jeffrey had a romantic courtship, filled with love and never-ending passion. Confident that this was the love to last a lifetime, Kelly wholeheartedly agreed to become Mrs. Jeffrey Conrad. They celebrated their happiness with a magnificent wedding ceremony that was the social event of Santa Barbara. Unfortunately their bliss was short- lived, as problems began to arise in their new found love.

Almost from the beginning, their marriage seemed doomed. Jeffrey's mother, Pamela, could not keep her nose out of the lovers' lives, and her meddling put a definite strain on their happiness. Much to her surprise and joy, Kelly became pregnant, but this happy event turned to heartbreak as she miscarried the child she and Jeffrey conceived out of their devotion to one another.

The final downfall was the arrival of diabolical T.J. into town. He was dating Kelly's mother, Sophia, but there was something about him that Kelly didn't trust. In order to make sure Sophia was safe, Kelly began to investigate this mysterious newcomer to her family. Her hunch was right as she found that T.J. was stealing money from the family business, but it was too late. Desire overruled good judgment, and Kelly found herself wildly attracted to T.J., as they began a passionate love affair.

Jeffrey's mother, Pamela would not allow her beloved son to be hurt, so she poisoned Kelly, causing her to fall into a deep coma. She then arranged to have T.J. become the prime suspect in this dirty deed, and he was carted off to jail. When Kelly awoke and immediately bailed T.J. out, Jeffrey realized the painful truth. The woman who had promised to love him for eternity had now betrayed him. His love turned to rage as he plotted revenge against his wife. T.J. agreed to be a part of his plan since he had grown tired of Kelly's manipulations as well. However, at the last minute, Jeffrey couldn't go through with the plan. He had loved Kelly once, and although that love was over, Jeffrey couldn't bring himself to hurt her. With nothing left for him in Santa Barbara, a devastated Jeffrey left town, and a love full of promise came to a sad end. DTV
