Each zip file contains: aw-[name].exe actwin.hlp actwinhk.dll The .exe and .hlp files can go anywhere you like them; atwinhk.dll, however, HAS to go in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM (or equivilent), or the program won't work. atwinhk.dll is the same in all the .zip files, so even if you download more than one, you only have to bother with the .dll file the first time. Once the program is running (you are assumed to know how to start an .exe file), right-click on the character to bring up an options screen. Unfortunately, it's in Japanese. (At least I assume it's Japanese; I don't have any support for it on my comp, since I can't read it anyway, so it just looks like random ASCII characters...) Characters who have several different outfits will have a number of "radio buttons" on the options screen; you'll just have to click around and see which one does what. Characters with one single outfit only have one button. Also, there's a checkbox. If this is checked, the character will be completely updated along with the window; this means it will disappear for a second or two each time you move the window or something changes. If it's not checked, the character will not be updated, which means it won't disappear as often, but the graphics may get messed up sometimes, especially if you move the window around. As soon as the character updates, the graphics will be restored. I find myself keeping this box checked, because it looks better. Rei also has a second checkbox. That box is a "bandages: on/off" switch. Checked means "on"; unchecked, "off". Finally, there are five buttons. They are, in this order, "OK", "CANCEL", "ABOUT", "HELP", and "EXIT". The OK and Cancel buttons should be familiar to you; the About option displays copyright information, while Help opens the actwin.hlp file, which is in Japanese (or-at-least-I-assume- it's-Japanese) and probably really helpful... if you can read it. The last button, "EXIT", closes the program, and removes the character. Remember, only have one program running at a time - otherwise the characters will overlap each other, and it looks ugly. Enjoy.
